Contact & Guestbook

Building my new personal web site was fun; it gave me new energy and some excitement.  I needed that.  The last 4 years dealing with my health - my Hyperthyroidism - has been a big challenge.  And, because of my illness I’ve lost contact with so many friends and fans.  I hope we meet again, and to hear from you real soon… Blessings.

Hi Ms. Leigh. I found you through researching about Grave's Disease - which I was diagnosed with I read about your battle with thyroid disease and it mirrors mine in many ways; although I've been blessed to not have the TED. I've was only diagnosed 3.5 years ago and had RAI within 9 months of that diagnosis. I really appreciated that you shared your battle. Anyway; it is through that search that I found out you had a book, and quite a history. You have a beautiful website here and I really liked what you've written. I'm now considering buying your book. I wasn't big on Elvis or Steve McQueen but I have a feeling that the book is interesting because of your shared journey and what you've encountered along the way. It is a battle to live a quality life when thyroid disease is ever present but life is worth the efforts we give it. But...you already know this and it's evident in your writing. You're a survivor. Thank you. Colleen

Greetings Ms. Leigh! ~ Up and coming (so to speak) filmmakers here, we just wanted to let you know how much we enjoy your work. You were so wonderful in Stephanie Rothman's groundbreaking "The Student Nurses" - just a raw realism, and that cinematography that showed you in the fields, on the beach, and on the urban streets of Los Angeles, sure didn't hurt either. We are always on the lookout for any new filmic experience to inspire us to invent more original material, and you are on the radar for life in that respect. Thanks again for all you have given us with your talents, such a powerful life to have lived, and maybe we'll cross paths... Warmest Regards, The Stefanic Twins

Hi Barbara, I recently heard your 'interview' on Elvis Radio with George Klein and, as requested, subsequently visited your website! I will admit I initially hoped to glean more info about your time with Elvis (love the note from 'the Panther'), however I also discovered what an incredible woman you are and what amazing experiences you have had! Wow. I truly enjoyed reading your story and seeing your amazing, personal and beautiful photos. The funny part of this, and the reason I was compelled to leave this comment, is that the very next day after hearing you on George Klein (admittedly having never heard of you before) I just so happened stop into a comic book store (which I never do) and there I saw an entire series of Vampirella comics including your covers! It really blew me away. Anyway, I thought that was very bizarre and cool and funny how things happen like that. Take care and thanks for sharing your life with us 'fans' both old and new!
